Protect steel parts and machines with MOTIP Anti-Corrosion Primer. Suitable as pre-treatment for topcoating with air drying alkyd resin varnishes. Fast-drying, lead-free red oxide primer to treat untreated surfaces of ferro-metal. Suitable as pre-treatment for respraying with air drying alkyd lacquer systems. Anti-corrosion primer has excellent coverage, filling properties and adhesion. MOTIP Anti Corrosion is weldable and easy to sand and has excellent corrosion prevention.
Usage Instructions
Before use, carefully read the directions on the packaging and follow them.
The surface should be clean, dry, and free of grease. Remove loose old lacquer and rust, and sand the surface.
The aerosol should be at room temperature. Best processing temperature: 5–30°C.
Shake the aerosol well for 2 minutes before use and spray a test sample.
Distance to the surface to be treated: approximately 20 cm.
Apply anti-corrosion primer in several layers. Shake the aerosol again before applying the next layer.
After use, clean the valve — turn the aerosol upside down and press the nozzle for approximately 5 seconds.
Drying time depends on ambient temperature, air humidity, and the thickness of the lacquer layer applied.
