MP2S-CAN-G13 CAN-Bus Towbar Wiring Kit.
The MP2S-CAN-G13 is a modern 13-pin towbar wiring kit designed for vehicles equipped with CAN-Bus systems. Unlike traditional trailer modules, the MP2S-CAN reads the required signals directly from the vehicle’s CAN-Bus network instead of connecting to the lighting wires. This significantly reduces the number of required connections and makes installation faster, safer, and more professional.
The kit provides full 13-pin trailer socket functionality, including permanent +12V power supply and an intelligent trailer battery charging system. Charging is automatically activated only when the vehicle engine is running, helping to protect the vehicle battery from discharge.
The MP2S-CAN-G13 is compatible with both LED and traditional bulb lighting systems for both the vehicle and trailer. The module supports trailer connection detection, trailer turn signal fault diagnostics, reverse light control, and rear fog light management.
The pre-assembled main wiring harness with integrated 13-pin socket greatly simplifies installation and reduces fitting time. Firmware updates are also possible using Bootloader software, ensuring compatibility with newer vehicle models and future feature improvements.
