Synthetic engine oil for vehicles with and without exhaust aftertreatment.
It is a high performance, low SAPS, fuel-saving engine oil designed for modern passenger car gasoline and diesel engines, especially suitable for diesel engines with particulate filters.
This oil is classified as ACEA C1, which requires an even greater reduction in ash, phosphorus and sulfur than in categories C2 and C3.
The introduction of EURO 4 and subsequent emission standards for passenger car engines led to the development of new engines and emission control systems, which also required the development of new generation engine oils. To meet these exhaust standards, engines are equipped with diesel particulate filters (DPF).
These exhaust gas monitoring systems must perform their function reliably over a very long period of operation, and engine oil components must not fail.
To meet these requirements, new engine oils have been developed with a lower content of sulphated ash, phosphorus and sulfur (low SAPS).
Low ash technology keeps the engine and particulate filter clean and significantly reduces particulate emissions.
ACEA C1 motor oils must contain no more than 0.5% sulfated ash, 0.5% phosphorus and 0.2% sulfur.

An engine oil of this quality can only be used if it meets the ACEA C1, A5/B5 or A1/B1 specifications, for example in many Mazda engines.
This engine oil may not be used in all engines.
